Rule of thumb for the category: legs up to about three hours are the light jet's home turf, and it does them at the lowest jet hourly on the card. Past 2,000 nm, the honest quote is usually a midsize or super-mid — nonstop beats a fuel stop on both the clock and, often, the total.
