Understand private jet charter cancellation terms, refund conditions, changes and replacement aircraft questions to check before you book.

01

Find the terms that apply to your booking

Identify the contracting parties, operating carrier and governing agreement. Distinguish a customer cancellation from an operator cancellation, a timing change and an aircraft substitution. These events may have different consequences.

02

Read every deadline precisely

Ask when a cancellation takes effect, which time zone applies and how notice must be delivered. Check staged charges, nonrefundable commitments and any special peak-date or international conditions. Keep evidence that notice was received.

03

Ask how a refund would be handled

Clarify what can be refunded, retained or credited, who processes it and the stated timeframe. Check payment method and currency effects. Do not assume that a general airline rule or a card benefit automatically applies to your particular charter.

04

Agree the disruption process

Ask what happens after weather, maintenance or airport disruption. Can you decline a replacement aircraft, and under what terms? Get the treatment of changed routing, delays, unused legs and extra costs in writing. Seek qualified advice on a disputed contract.
